Harneys is pleased to announce its recommendation as a top tier law firm in Legal 500’s latest rankings.
Harneys is dominant in the directory’s British Virgin Islands rankings with Tier 1 results across all practice areas, the only firm in the BVI to do so. Legal 500 describes Harneys as BVI’s “go-to” law firm with “unsurpassed knowledge of BVI law and practice”. Partners Sheila George, Philip Graham, Andrew Thorp and Colin Riegels are named Leading Lawyers due to their outstanding knowledge and experience, while a further 19 BVI lawyers are recommended. In all, Harneys has more than twice the number of recommended lawyers than any other BVI firm.
The firm’s Cayman rankings, including a Tier 1 result for its Trusts practice, confirm that Harneys continues to close the gap with larger firms in the market. The firm’s Investment Funds practice earned strong praise from clients who called the team’s service delivery “impeccable” and “second to none”. Partners Ian Gobin and Henry Mander are named Leading Lawyers and 13 more associates and partners are recommended.
The firm’s 10-partner Hong Kong office was praised as “responsive and hardworking” and offering “tactical and practical solutions”. Its Tier 2 ranking cements the trajectory of Harneys’ rapid growth in Hong Kong, with editors noting a number of high-value, complex mandates in the past 12 months.
In Bermuda, associated firm Zuill & Co. is ranked for Dispute Resolution expertise, with partners Lilla Zuill and Jayson Wood named as recommended lawyers.
In total, more than 40 Harneys lawyers are highlighted in the 2018 Caribbean and Asia-Pacific rankings, affirming the firm’s outstanding depth of knowledge, expertise and experience.
