New Partner Fiona Chan appointed bolstering banking and finance practice in Asia
Appleby has announced the appointment of Partner, Fiona Chan, who joins the Group’s Hong Kong office to further bolster Appleby’s Asia banking and finance practice.
Fiona has extensive experience advising clients on various offshore jurisdictions and joins Appleby after working approximately five years offshore in Hong Kong. She has also spent 10 years onshore with the London and Hong Kong offices of Clifford Chance. Her experience spans the spectrum of banking and finance transactions including bilateral and syndicated lending, project and acquisition finance, asset-backed and property financing, energy and infrastructure financing, pre-IPO debt and equity finance, corporate restructuring/pre-insolvency and various forms of credits and securities.
