Appleby articled clerk Victoria King will be the first Caymanian to participate in the Cayman Trainee Placement scheme.
It’s a 12-week programme that allows Caymanian articled clerks placement with Chambers in England and Wales. Ms. King will begin her training at Maitland Chambers on Monday.
She will study under the direction and advisement of highly ranked barristers. The Cayman Trainee Placement Scheme was established in late 2014 by the Chancery Bar Association, the Cayman Islands Law Society and the Caymanian Bar Association.
